CIMS may analyze factual records, identify inconsistencies, present options, and recommend a case-development workflow for attorney consideration. CIMS does not independently determine eligibility, select final legal theories or protected grounds, make final strategic legal decisions, sign filings, or represent individuals before USCIS, EOIR, the Department of State, law-enforcement agencies, or another authority.

All work must be reviewed and approved by the supervising attorney. The attorney remains responsible for legal analysis, professional judgment, client representation, ethical compliance, and the accuracy and submission of final filings.

CIMS is prepared to enter written confidentiality and data-handling agreements tailored to the supervising firm’s requirements, applicable law, and professional obligations. The firm remains responsible for determining the requirements that govern its matters and approving the systems used for client information.

CIMS does not market certified translation services. When a filing requires a certified translation, the supervising firm is responsible for selecting an appropriate qualified provider.
